Originally from Elk River, Minnesota, Joe’s career began with service in the U.S. Air Force as a Law Enforcement Officer. From there, he found his calling in EMS, starting as an EMT in Minneapolis and earning his Paramedic certification from NW Tech College in Wadena, MN. In 1995, he made the move to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he spent two decades working as a field medic, supervisor, and Paramedic Instructor in both Mississippi and Louisiana.

Joe’s expertise took him offshore in 2008, where he thrived as a medic and advanced into management roles, eventually becoming an Operations Manager. In 2014, RemoteMD was fortunate to welcome Joe to the team, initially working with Noble Drilling. Since then, he’s worn many hats — from Director of Operations to Project Manager — and today, we’re proud to have him leading as our Operations Manager.

For over 11 years, Joe has been a pillar of reliability, leadership, and calm confidence. Whether offshore or in the office, he brings unmatched knowledge and heart to every challenge. We’re grateful for all he’s contributed and continues to build with us.
