At RemoteMD, our commitment to delivering world-class medical services anytime, anywhere remains stronger than ever.
RemoteMD was born at the request of our industrial clients who recognized our attention to detail, in-depth medical expertise, and superior case management. They saw the value we could bring from our brick-and-mortar facility to their employees living and working on offshore oil installations across the globe.
To accomplish this, I invested heavily in the development of innovative systems that combine advanced in-house education for our medical providers, comprehensive medical programs, expansive medical packages and our own proprietary telemedicine platform. Since its inception, RemoteMD has delivered a level of medical care and compassion in high-risk environments that was previously unseen. Quite simply, we refuse to compromise when it comes to quality of care.
Whether on an offshore platform, a remote construction site, or responding to a disaster, every worker deserves access to the best medical care possible; they earn it every day. On their behalf, we armed RemoteMD’s onsite providers, with extensive continuing medical education, through our OccuMedics program. By combining their expertise with the clinical judgment of our topside support physicians, RemoteMD has become an undisputed industry leader.
Never one to accept the status quo, we continue striving to improve rather than rest on our reputation. For over 20 years, I have remained riveted on building an exceptional team and recruiting medical professionals who truly care and investing in their growth so they can become the very best.
With physician oversight available 24/7, we don’t just react we anticipate. This was never more evident than during the COVID-19 pandemic. By developing a nearly flawless quarantine plan, we protected every installation under the RemoteMD umbrella, both domestic and international, without a single case reaching offshore allowing uninterrupted operations for our clients.
We remain grounded in experience and driven by innovation. We’re always seeking better, more efficient, and more cost-effective solutions, never forgetting that you entrust us with your most valuable asset: your people.
On a personal note, I have always viewed the RemoteMD workforce as my extended family with all of us working together for a common cause. I am proud to now share this journey with my children, Dr. William M. Kotler, MD, our Chief Medical Officer, and Courtney Keeney, our Director of Communications & Public Relations. William and I share a passion for the practice of medicine, and we all share the same passion for RemoteMD and the commitment to all those dedicated professionals living and working in austere environments. Together we are advancing new technologies to further elevate and advance our capabilities.
