eric coley
Special Projects Manager
From offshore platforms to hospital ERs, from helicopters to corporate boardrooms, Eric Coley’s career spans nearly three decades of unmatched service, innovation, and dedication to health, safety, and operational excellence.
A native of Mandeville, Louisiana, Eric first joined RemoteMD over 14 years ago and has recently returned, this time as a Project Manager, bringing his extraordinary journey full circle.
Eric’s resume reads like a masterclass in critical care, HSE leadership, and systems development:
- As an HSE Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance and Halliburton/KBR, he delivered lifesaving care in remote environments, offshore rigs, and even during military-aligned operations in Kuwait.
- He taught AHA life support courses through Tulane University and later became a Lead Instructor at Chattahoochee Valley Community College, always staying sharp by teaching others.
- His roles as Medical Supervisor and Director of Operations had him leading global health & safety teams and even launching “Wadleigh University” a custom online training platform for field personnel.
- As Program Director and Flight Paramedic for Air Evac Lifeteam, Eric helped launch a base in Georgia, then took to the skies providing critical care on long-haul emergency flights.
- His leadership extended to major organizations like Seadrill and Pharma-Safe, where he shaped corporate infrastructure, built learning systems, and oversaw regional medical operations — including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, as Project Manager at RemoteMD, Eric is once again shaping the future by optimizing infrastructure, driving scalability, and supporting medical operations in some of the most remote and extreme environments on Earth.
He’s not just experienced, he’s exceptional. And we’re proud to have him back.
